The purpose of the Foundation is to raise and administer funds to support and promote SAE International's educational activities in Canada, including A World In Motion®, the SAE Collegiate Design Series competitions and undergraduate engineering scholarships.
Did You Know...
- Nearly a half of a million elementary and middle school students in 10 Canadian provinces and 3 territories have experienced the A World In Motion® (AWIM) program over the past decade!
- Most of the AWIM curriculum and activity kits are available in French!

2011 SAE Foundation Canada Goals...
Goal #1: To increase the number of students reached through the A World In Motion® program by 50% over 2010.
Year-End Results: In 2011, over 5,900 students were reached through the A World In Motion® program. This represents a 56% increase over 2010.
Goal #2: Enhance the effectiveness of the A World In Motion® experience by improving the student from 47:1 to 36:1.
Year-End Results: In 2011, this goal was surpassed! The student to volunteer ratio is now 24:1, with a volunteer provided for every classroom using the A World In Motion® program.
2012 SAE Foundation Canada Goals...
Goal #1: To increase the number of students reached through the A World In Motion® program by 10% over 2011.
Goal #2: Sustain the A World In Motion® program student to volunteer ratio at the optimum 24:1.
