The SAE Foundation has a long history of supporting science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education inspiring over 4 million students throughout North America. It is an investment in the innovators of tomorrow that has lead to the creation of the Siegel Society.
The Siegel Society was established to acknowledge the special group of dedicated friends who support the mission of the SAE Foundation through a bequest in their will, a charitable gift annuity or trust.
"Take a little, leave a little and we'll all have some."
This was the hand-blocked request carved into the pantry door of a cabin Arne and Steffi Siegel stumbled upon out hiking one day as a young couple. That brief message on the pantry door reminding fellow ranchers of their part in the community struck a chord with Arne and Steffi and became the cornerstone of their personal approach towards philanthropy.
The Siegels, as donors to the SAE Foundation and advocates for education, are an inspiration to the SAE Foundation and reflect the spirit of our own commitment to STEM education. For over 20 years we have focused on supporting the innovative, award-winning, hands-on science and engineering programs of SAE International A World In Motion® and Collegiate Design Series.
Membership in the Siegel Society is an honor, and provides a way for us to recognize our special benefactors who have helped to secure the future of the SAE Foundation and the programs we support through the thoughtful, meaningful inclusion of the SAE Foundation in their financial planning.
