Matching Gift will Double Your Donation on Pi Day

In celebration of Pi Day, SAE International 2019 President, Paul Mascarenas, and BorgWarner will provide a dollar-for-dollar match for all gifts (up to $10,000) made to the SAE Foundation on March 14, 2019.

The matching gift, in support of SAE’s science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs, is part of the SAE Foundation’s annual Pi Day celebration taking place March 14.

“In a world of constant change, engineers are key to our future,” said Paul Mascarenas, SAE International 2019 President. “The programs supported by the SAE Foundation combine both theory and practice to help our students and young engineers prepare for the exciting future that lies ahead, and over the years the results have spoken for themselves.  I encourage you to join me in this year’s Pi Day Campaign. By giving together we can help make a difference for those who aspire to a career in Mobility Engineering.”

The campaign will shed light on the importance of STEM education and will encourage support of SAE’s STEM programs, but also serves as a critical part of the SAE Foundation’s ability to provide STEM education programs for ALL students.

This event will help fill the workforce pipeline with skilled technical talent by supporting programs that champion STEM education around the world.
